Frequently asked questions
Do I need any dance or fitness background?
Not at all. Angel Baby is designed for absolute beginners — no experience in dance, gymnastics or fitness is needed.
What if I have no upper-body strength?
No worries. Classes build strength progressively, so you don’t need to be strong before you start. Strength comes with practice.
Is pole dancing safe?
Yes, when taught properly. Our instructors use proper warm-ups, progressions and spotting to minimise injury risk.
What should I wear?
Shorts and a sports bra or tank top. Skin contact with the pole helps grip, so avoid long sleeves or leggings, and skip lotions or balms on the day.
How many people are in a class?
Group classes have a maximum of 6–8 students, so everyone gets proper coaching.
How do I book?
Book online through our booking page, on Instagram or on WhatsApp. Advance booking is required as places are limited.
Do you offer trial classes?
Yes — a trial class for first-timers is RM50.
Can I join a higher level if I have pole experience?
Yes. Tell us your experience and we’ll help place you in the right level; a trial assessment may be required.
Can men join?
Classes are designed for women unless a class is specified as a men’s class. Ask us about upcoming men’s classes.
Can I bring a friend to watch?
Only registered students are allowed in the studio during class. Friends and family are welcome at our recitals and showcases.
Are there changing rooms and showers?
Yes, on a first-come, first-served basis.
I’m not flexible. Can I still pole?
Absolutely. Pole builds flexibility over time, and our flexibility classes support your progress.
I have a medical condition or past injury.
Please consult your doctor before joining, and tell your instructor about any injuries so movements can be modified.
Can I pole while pregnant?
We don’t recommend it unless you are an experienced pole dancer with prior training. Always check with your doctor first.

Small-class cancellations
Classes with fewer than 3 students registered 3 hours before start time may be cancelled.
Series classes

Class credits
Cancel 6+ hours before class and your credit is returned. Cancellations under 6 hours, and no-shows, lose the class credit.
Private lessons & parties
Private lessons need 24 hours’ notice to cancel; private parties need 2 weeks.
Refunds
Series, class packages and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please use them within their validity.
Age
All students must be 18+.
Attire & hygiene
Tight-fitting pole or yoga shorts with appropriate coverage, clean workout clothes and deodorant. No lotions or balms — they make the poles slippery.
Filming
No filming during class unless your instructor approves. During open practice you may film yourself, respecting others’ privacy.
Safety
Follow your instructor’s directions; climbing and inverting need instructor permission. No alcohol in the studio.
